Abbreviations on wedding cards

Following are some of the abbreviations I have come across on wedding cards.

  • RSVP
This is a French phrase - répondez s'il vous plaît, meaning "Please respond."
  • RSVP, regrets only
As an extension of the above, this is written when expecting a lot of persons to attend and only those who will not be able to attend should respond.
  • WBCF
